My professional interest is in evolutionary biology, conservation genetics, cell biology, molecular biology and biotechnology. My laboratory experience includes all aspects of DNA extraction, amplification, cloning, sequencing; DNA microarray analysis; protein isolation and purification techniques and protein sequencing; PCR; RT-PCR, electrophoresis; centrifugation; spectrophotometry; chromatography; general chemical and biological laboratory procedures, instrumentation and research methods; and computer assisted data and genetic analysis and genetic databases.
